Where We Stay
The Mentor Hotel was the first organised hotel on the island (built in 1969) and still sits right at the heart of the harbour – mere minutes from the main square. There are a number of local restaurants nearby and you can enjoy easy access to coastal walks and plenty of exploration to other parts of the Ionian as well. You will also find yourself within a few metres from the sea, spoilt for seafront views of boats in the port of Vathy!
Your Accommodation
Our allocation is based on twin share occupancy with en-suite bathrooms. There are a limited number of single supplement rooms, which can be reserved during the booking process, subject to availability.

Food and Drink
All breakfasts and one lunch are included in your trip price (swimmers only). The remaining four lunches and all dinners are at your own expense. This gives you a fantastic opportunity to explore the menus and experience the local restaurants of your choice over the course of your trip. Your guides and the team at the hotel will be able to provide recommendations for places to eat.
Dietary Requirements
If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking. There is a section to complete within the profile details of your SwimTrek account requesting dietary requirements, which will also allow you to notify us of any dietary preferences.
While we will do our best to accommodate these requests, due to the remote location of many of our trips, this cannot always be guaranteed, and allergens may be present. Should this be a cause for concern, and you have no safe solution available please reconsider your intent to travel.
If you have either a requirement or preference for specific food or drinks which may be difficult to source on location, we strongly recommend bringing these with you.
