Extra Activities

Mango Bay Resort is an ideal base to launch all kinds of waterborne adventures (not just swimming!). Make your Caribbean getaway extra special with excursions from the sandy beach, shielded by a barrier of coral, where access to water sports is extensive and none of the bigger yachts or charter boats can get too close to shore. This calm bay is perfect for snorkelling (a visit to 'The Indians' site is a definite highlight), underwater photography, sailing and kayaking.

Trails snake off through tropical foliage to hilltops where hikers and nature lovers will enjoy fantastic views over their sunlit surrounds. The tranquil waters of Mahoe Bay beach are the ideal location to test out the resort's snorkelling equipment, floating mattresses and kayaks, which are all provided at no extra cost. Mango Bay Resort can also arrange for you to participate in: kitesurfing, windsurfing lessons, jet skis, water skiing, scuba diving, fishing, tennis and can even set up a day trip on a luxury motor yacht, whisking group of up to ten explorers around the neighbouring islands.

Travel Plugs & Electricity

For a useful source of information on the different electrical outlets, electrical plugs, and electric sockets, please visit www.worldstandards.eu.

Food and Drink

Breakfasts are included served on the veranda of each suite. Five lunches will either be taken in the resort or on a local beach or our main support boat. Dinners are at your own expense which gives you a fantastic opportunity to explore and experience the local restaurants of your choice over the course of your trip. The average cost of dinner in a local restaurant is around $30-40. Alternative restaurants will require a taxi which will be at your own expense, however reasonable rates are offered for groups and our guides will help arrange transport. Snacks and drinks are not included in your package price and must be paid for locally.

Dietary Requirements

If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking. There is a section to complete within the profile details of your SwimTrek account requesting dietary requirements, which will also allow you to notify us of any dietary preferences.

While we will do our best to accommodate these requests, due to the remote location of many of our trips, this cannot always be guaranteed, and allergens may be present. Should this be a cause for concern, and you have no safe solution available please reconsider your intent to travel.

If you have either a requirement or preference for specific food or drinks which may be difficult to source on location, we strongly recommend bringing these with you.
