Where We Stay
Mrshe Palace is a beautiful former palace which has been totally refurbished in a traditional Montenegrin style and which is booked exclusively for SwimTrek’s use during our trips. The Perast Palace is a home away from home and is situated up a flight of steps, just metres from the water’s edge on the banks of the Bay of Kotor.
The Accommodation
The house features a large lounge, separate dining room and TV room as well as wireless internet and an outdoor terrace in the heart of Perast. Please note that there are a range of bedroom/bathroom options at Mrshe Palace, please pay close attention to the room you select during the booking process.
Most of the rooms are offered on a twin share basis and have en-suite facilities, however, please be aware that there are two bedrooms (Rooms 2 and 5) which have a shared bathroom. Please ensure that you select the correct room type at the time of booking and be aware that all rooms are subject to availability. Due to the limited number of rooms at the house, there is only one single supplement available on each departure, which is often booked very early. If the single supplement is still available for the departure that you are interested in booking, it will be available to select during the booking process. We are also unable to accommodate any non-swimmer bookings on this trip.
If you'd like to extend your stay in Montenegro itself, you can contact Liliana directly at lilianaglyn@hotmail.com to lengthen your stay at Mrshe Palace. Please note that Liliana won’t be able to provide breakfasts if you decide to extend your stay.
Whilst visiting Montenegro, you are probably going to fly through Dubrovnik, this 16th century City in Croatia, which is known for its distinctive old town is a popular destination for previous SwimTrekker's to visit either before your trip or after.

Room 2 - Twin/Double (Shared Bathroom)
This bedroom is located on the second floor and has a partial sea view. The room consists of one double and one single bed and shares a bathroom with Bedroom 5.

Room 3 - Twin/Double with Sea View and Balcony (En-Suite Bathroom)
This corner bedroom offers breath-taking views in two directions and includes a large balcony. The room consists of one double and one single bed and has an en-suite bathroom.

Room 4 - Twin/Double with Sea View and Balcony (En-Suite Bathroom)
This corner bedroom also offers spectacular views in two directions and boasts its own balcony. The room consists of one double and one single bed and has an en-suite bathroom.

Room 5 - Twin/Double (Shared Bathroom)
This bedroom is located on the second floor and offers mountain views. The room consist of two single beds and can be booked as either a Twin Room or Double Room. This bedroom shares a bathroom with Bedroom 2.

Room 6 - Double for Solo Use (Private Bathroom)
This quiet bedroom is on the third floor and offers mountain views. The room consists of two single beds and can be booked as either a twin room, double room or single room.

This bedroom is located on the third floor and offers mountain views and side sea views. The room consists of two double beds and an en-suite bathroom.

This bedroom is the only triple room in the house, with three single beds. The room can also be booked as a double room and is very spacious with spectacular sea views and an en-suite bathroom.

This spacious bedroom is located on the top floor and offers beautiful sea views. The room consists of two double beds and an en-suite and can be booked as either a Twin Room or Double Room.

Food and Drink
All breakfasts and lunches (excluding lunch on day six) are included on this trip. On the first night, an optional 3-course welcome dinner is held at the Mrshe Palace. This meal is always a great way for you to get to know your guides and fellow swimmers over a delicious, homemade meal, however, if you wish not to be included, please let the SwimTrek office know prior to your departure. Vegetarian and vegan options are available upon request.
Other dinners are not included, allowing you to experience the local restaurant of your choice over the course of your trip. Your guides and the team at the hotel will be able to provide recommendations for places to eat.

Dietary Requirements
If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking. There is a section to complete within the profile details of your SwimTrek account requesting dietary requirements, which will also allow you to notify us of any dietary preferences.
While we will do our best to accommodate these requests, due to the remote location of many of our trips, this cannot always be guaranteed, and allergens may be present. Should this be a cause for concern, and you have no safe solution available please reconsider your intent to travel.
If you have either a requirement or preference for specific food or drinks which may be difficult to source on location, we strongly recommend bringing these with you.
