SwimTrek attended the YMCA Master National Meet in Sarasota Florida this past weekend (April 15-17). This meet has been held annually since 1976, and this was the fourth time it was hosted by the Sarasota Shark Masters. There were nearly 500 swimmers at the meet from 52 different teams across the country.
Sarasota is also home to the USMS National office. SwimTrek is a new partner with USMS, and it was a great chance to visit with and meet some new folks from the national office.
We spent three sunny days poolside, watching some great swims (especially inspirational were several records set in the 85 yr old age category) and sharing information about SwimTrek… excited as we expand to add new locations in North America. There was much interest in the Fall 2016 Salt River Arizona trip.
We’ll be back at it in a couple of weeks at USMS Spring Nationals in Greensboro, NC, April 27 - May 1. Come by the booth and plan your next amazing adventure.
