Liveaboard: Ombak Biru Komodo

Where We Stay

Accommodation for our Komodo Islands trip is aboard the Ombak Biru - a traditional wooden schooner with a length of 30 meters and total capacity of 16 people.

Ombak Biru

The Accommodation

Built locally in South Sulawesi, this luxurious wooden schooner is 30 metres long and has two double deluxe and four twin state rooms. Cruising through the Indonesia archipelago at a speed of between 8–10 knots, you'll be able to enjoy your islet-scattered surrounds in absolute comfort. Please note that bed preferences cannot be guaranteed and will be finalised upon arrival on the yacht at the start of your trip.

Please note sleeping at sea is an entirely different experience to dry land as lapping waves may affect sleeping patterns. Most people will adjust quite quickly but we would advise light-sleepers to bring earbuds. All spaces are offered on a twin share basis.

If you would like to book additional nights’ accommodation at the start or end of your trip, you will need to make your own arrangements.
