Biography
Originally a SwimTrek guest (Lakes Weekend, Gozo, and the Long Distance Training Camp), I joined SwimTrek HQ in 2012. Always somewhat of a 'steady' swimmer in terms of speed, I realised that I was quite suited to longer distances and I loved the freshwater so in 2012, I did my first solo long distance swim in Lake Zurich. In 2014, I swam the length of Lake Windermere, the length of Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in Switzerland, and finished that season with a solo English Channel swim in October. I still have a few more long freshwater swims in my sights. I have guided on Montenegro, Lake Bled, Durdle Door, Thames, various Lakes trips, Seven Sisters, Bosphorus, Hellespont and Mallorca, and have been lucky enough to visit trips on many more SwimTrek locations around the world.
