Swimming in Croatia's breathtaking Kornati National Park is the perfect opportunity to stretch out your stroke and enjoy some longer swims in one of the country's most beautiful archipelagos. With more than 130 remote and often uninhabited islands, this stretch of water is a truly fascinating part of Croatia's famous Dalmatian coastline.
From the calm, sheltered waters of the lagoon of Telascica Bay Nature Park, to the dramatic open sea cliffs on the western shore of Dugi Otok, there is no shortage of places to explore and sights to enjoy. With an average daily swim distance of 8km, this trip is suitable for more experienced open water swimmers and those who prefer longer swims, with one of the highlights of the week being the exhilarating 8½km circumnavigation of the lovely pine-clad island of Lavdara.

Reviews
Ricky, our guide, really moved my swimming on with excellent technique analysis and tips. He made sure we did plenty of crossings which I loved!
If you're looking for long swims in a great location, in clear warm water, look no further.
Everything was wonderful: the people, the landscape, the swims. Strongly recommended for all long distance lovers.
The Kornati islands are like nowhere else, just beautiful. For crystal clear, warm water and beautiful landscapes, Croatia is hard to beat.
I switched off my brain, switched on my swimming muscles, met lovely people, enjoyed great food, and came home already planning my next trip. Swimtrek is rapidly becoming a wonderful annual habit!
The long swims trips are a FANTASTIC addition to your portfolio. Please, please, please consider adapting other locations to offer long weeks as well as shorter weeks.
Incredible!
